Frequently Asked Questions

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule that's perfectly okay. You need to contact us and we will sort it out.

Rescheduling is fine and we're happy to help out but please note, Weescape has a strict ONE WEEK cancellation  / reschedule policy to facilitate other guests.

Due to the busy Christmas / new year period, all bookings modifications / cancellations during the months of November, December, January inclusive require at least TWO WEEKS cancellation notice without exception.

Any payments made for a game cannot be refunded within one week of a game.

Please read our Terms and Conditions for our cancellation policy.

  • If the number of people increases, the difference will need to be paid on the day.

If the number of people decreases, unfortunately we can't refund the difference.

  • We kindly ask that you arrive minimum 10 minutes prior to your booking time to avoid disappointment. Please note, we cannot accommodate late arrivals. Please ensure to plan your arrival to prevent any foreseeable delays.

Please note, the main door will be closed 5 minutes before your game starts, Game Master will bring teams into the rooms and the game will begin.

The Game Master cannot leave the control room during the whole game so she/he won’t be able to open the main door for your team in case you will be late. This is a health and safety requirement.

If you're running late, please call ahead and let us know. We reserve the right to cancel the game if participants are late. Participants are expected to plan their journey to our venues and arrive 10-15 minutes before the scheduled starting time.

Door will be opened usually 15 minutes before your game starts.

  • " For 14 year olds or younger, supervision by an adult will be required. The main reason for this limit is because of the complexity of the game. Please bear in mind that some mild scary stuff and physical action can be involved, too.

A parent or guardian or responsible adult will be called and kindly asked to supervise children in the room, during the whole game.

Please note, Game Master is not responsible for players or children’s behaviour."

  • We’ve emergency switches inside each room which is pointed out before the game starts. If at any point you’re feeling overwhelmed, you can hit the switch and exit.

  • No, well, not really. We design our rooms to fit the theme, so it may be dark or aesthetically creepy but we don’t hide in the room, we try to avoid building jump scares, there’s no actors or other people, no rats, no spiders, etc.

Please note, we might build scary (18+) rooms in the future. This will be mentioned in the room’s description.

  • So the floor opens up Scooby Doo style, there’s a big slide. It’s a lot of fun. The cages are less fun at the end.

I’m joking. If you don’t get out, we’ll walk you through the rest of the room and have a chat with you.

Also, don’t forget, you can open the door from inside, anytime.

  • Although our escape room fun requires brain power and team thinking, there are some physical aspects throughout. If you’re in crutches or have a sling, you’ll probably be fine.

In terms of hearing difficulties, the escape rooms will play background music and sound effects however this will not affect the solving of the game. There is a display monitor through which the GameMaster can communicate notes and clues on a screen inside the room, without the need for awkward walkie-talkies.

If you’ve any other health concerns, please let your GameMaster know on the day or beforehand if possible so we can accommodate for you as best as possible.
